I was looking for a casual and fun game, but I decided to play this without any idea about what the game is like.
Now, I have finished it! All I could say was that it was such a unique concept that was aesthetically executed. While the feelings it evoke was kind of sad, the visuals and the atmosphere of the game was calming. However, they blend so nicely together. Good job for the team!

I'm honestly at a really dark point in my life right now and this Game really hit home for me. I'm trying to appreciate the little things in life as well, but sometimes it's just so difficult to stay positive. But this little Story actually made me smile for the first time in a long time. I’m so glad my friend recommended me to play this heartfelt game because I am in love with the message of taking a step back and appreciating the little things around me. It’s a very heartwarming message to share especially when this was made during the pandemic. The visuals is hands down amazing, the soft colors is what made first caught my eye but how you drew each scene just made my heart melt, especially during the scene with Mel and Junie’s phone call. The writing was nicely done and I can see people relating to how Mel would feel. The ending honestly made me tear up a bit because of how much I relate to Melody’s current situation.
I’m looking forward to your future projects and I’ll definitely be supporting you! ♡

while i was playing it, when she called her friend "mel" i immediatelly remembered my friend which has the same nickname and sometimes go through hard times because of depression and anxiety. seeing their relationship really resonates with mine experience with my friend. sometimes it can be hard because of distance, but in the end, we'll always have each other, and that's what matters.

I literally decided to make an account just to say how delightful it was to play this game. This game just excels at so many levels: (1) aesthetics: visuals are beautiful, heartwarming and composed so well, and sound is just delightful. (2) mechanics: the mechanics of engaging the player with such a simple but meaningful interaction. I found myself reflecting on my own thoughts, both light and dark, and the interesting twist of "are you happy?" really gets you to think. (3) dynamics: the choice of camera shake borrows beautifully from film, it makes you feel like you're right there with Melody. (4) I love the story arc: it crisply follows literary tradition in such a short, but poignant, moment.
I played this again recently and it really just makes me realize actual life... we're still in a pandemic, things are so tough right now for so many people.. i think maybe, i should take time to notice the small things again.. i really relate to melody, working hard.. no breaks, sleeping all the time. its so draining.. ahh sorry! i went on a rant again. this game with seriously never get boring, its like a comfort for me. thank you for making this! i hope youre doing well:)<3
